‘Hell to pay:’ Residents angry as RCMP seize guns from High River homes (with video)

  1. Where can I find this video? I would like to share it on other networks. This is ridiculous behavior from the police. How the hell can they keep you out of your home? How can they go in your home and take your lawfully owned possessions? And ... ofcourse, they say it is for "OUR OWN SAFETY"...

  2. Were these firearms properly stored?
If they were not, then I understand why the RCMP took them.
    If they were, then WTF?!

  3. here is the link...

  4. Thanks for the link. I don't think this aspect of the disaster and the "help" from the police is being distributed very widely in main stream media.

It's not just that they used force to break into peoples' homes, that they took their property and are holding it, or the ridiculousness of preventing citizens from returning to their homes.... I find it very troublesome that they also said this: "The guns will be returned to owners after residents are allowed back in town and they provide proof of ownership, Topham added."
After having your home flooded, it may be a little tough to find your paperwork in order to get back the lawfully owned firearms that were TAKEN from your home with no cause.
I'm willing to bet that a lot of people will have trouble getting their guns back...

    I'm disgusted, but not surprised.

  5. That's angry? LOL That's so funny.
